Nairobi, Kenya: In September of 2008, Synergy Initiatives hooked up with Adam Delp, the Executive Director of the 1010 Project in Nairobi, Kenya. They spent the day visiting projects sponsored by 1010 and met with various leaders of those projects.

We are thrilled with the prospects of an ongoing and fruitful alliance with the 1010 Project, along with many of their in-country partners such as Michael Nyangi with LOMORO (right middle photo). Michael serves as the Kenyan Partners Coordinator and operates a financial services organization that provides those who cannot access traditional banks and capital funds due to a lack of collateral. There are many people across Kenya for whom even small loans can make a world of difference in the struggle against poverty.
